The mission of the Community Based Services division of Wordsworth is to provide a comprehensive array of the highest quality behavioral health, child welfare and prevention services that meet, and are responsive to, the ever changing needs of the individuals, families and communities we serve.
Consistently provide culturally competent, strengths based, trauma informed, and resiliency focused services to clients and communities throughout our service areas.
Demonstrate consistent commitment to nonviolence, emotional intelligence, social learning, open communication, social responsibility, growth and change, and democracy in all aspects of our programs and services.
Utilize evidence-based and/or promising practices whenever possible with a focus on outcomes, accountability and the integrity of services.
Ensure that all services to children and youth include active engagement, collaboration and partnership with parents and caregivers, including mothers, fathers and other adults who are important members of the family system.
Be responsive to the ever changing needs of the communities we serve by providing new and innovative services.
Demonstrate commitment to client satisfaction and continuous improvement of the programs and services we deliver.
Provide staff with the support, resources, supervision, training and development needed to ensure that we recruit and retain the highest quality staff.
Exercise sound financial management and fiscal responsibility in all programs.
