Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services
Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS), is commonly known as “wraparound,” and provides behavioral health treatment and services to children with emotional and behavioral health issues in home, school and community settings.
The goal is to help the children/adolescents successfully manage their behaviors and emotions by providing individual supports and treatment in the settings where they need it most. Parents/guardians, teachers and other adults in the child’s life also receive guidance to help them identify and implement strategies to help the child achieve their individual goals.
The range of services includes individual therapy, one-on-one behavioral support, behavioral consultation, family therapy, and the option for medication management with a child and adolescent psychiatrist if the family is interested.
