The Wordsworth Board of Directors has appointed Debbie Lacks as President and Chief Executive Officer of Wordsworth effective Tuesday May 27th, 2008.

Debbie brings a breadth of knowledge and experience to the position. She began her career at Wordsworth in 1989 as an Admissions Coordinator for the Fort Washington Residential Program; since then she has been involved in every area of Wordsworth's operations.

In the last several years she has played a major role in Wordsworth becoming on of the premiere agencies providing vital services to children and their families with special needs in the city of Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Further, throughout the years Debbie has been an active member and in some cases taken a leading role in professional organizations that work to improve the lives of children and their families.

As part of the management restrucuring, Michael Britcher has been named Chief Operating Officer and will report directly to Debbie. Previously Mike was Executive Director of Wordsworth's Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) for several years which included overseeing the physical relocation of two RTF sites to its current location at our Ford Road campus.
