Residential Services
Wordsworth maintains a 110 bed fully accredited residential unit located in the Fairmount Park section of Philadelphia.Our Residential program is for both girls and boys who have difficulty in maintaining appropriate behavior in the home, school and/or community. Community Based Services
Community Based Services includes a wide variety of individualized community-based behavioral health and child welfare services . These services may be integrated with one another or other services within Wordsworth ' s continuum. Our Community Based programs include: Foster Care, In Home Protective Services, Family Based Services, Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services, Out of School Time Programs, School Based Behavioral Health Services, and School Based Social services. Each program requires evaluation and/or assessment in accordance with program guidelines. |

Special Education Services
Wordsworth offers children and adolescents a wide range of school programs and supportive counseling. We provide high quality education for students who experience behavior, emotional and education challenges in their current school placement. Our education programs include the Approved Private School and the SPIRIT program both located in Ft. Washington , PA. The Approved Private School educates children from many school districts who need a small classroom and the support of behavioral health workers and school counselors throughout the day. Our SPIRIT program serves clients who have multiple challenges including a diagnosis on the autism spectrum or within the mental retardation range. Our alternative education program in Harrisburg serves students who need a different educational environment that will address behavioral and learning style needs.
