Wordsworth Academy’s behavioral health programs are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO or Joint Commission) for the period March 14th, 2009 through June 14th 2012. Joint Commission standards deal with organization quality, client safety of care, and safety of the environment in which care, treatment and services are provided.

TO THE PUBLIC: If any individual has any concerns about client care and safety in Wordsworth’s behavioral health programs, which Wordsworth has not addressed, he or she is encouraged to contact Wordsworth’s management at 215-452-5170 ext. 4542. If the concerns cannot be resolved through the organization, the individual is encouraged to contact the Joint Commission. The public may contact the Joint Commission’s Office of Quality Monitoring to report any concerns or register complaints about a Joint Commission-accredited health care organization by either calling 1/800-994-6610 or emailing complaint@jcaho.org.

TO WORDSWORTH EMPLOYEES: If any Wordsworth employee has any concerns about the safety or quality of care provided in Wordsworth’s behavioral health programs may report these concerns to the Joint Commission by either calling 1/800-994-6610 or emailing complaint@jcaho.org. Wordsworth will not retaliate or take disciplinary action against an employee who truthfully reports safety or quality of care concerns to the Joint Commission.
