Wordsworth is a private, not-for-profit organization providing education, behavioral health, and child welfare services to children, adolescents, and families. Our services include two fully licensed schools, programs for children in acute psychiatric crisis, and a range of community-based prevention, child welfare, and behavioral health services in homes, schools, and throughout Philadelphia’s neighborhoods.
Wordsworth partners with over 50 local school districts, the PA Department of Education, Community Behavioral Health, and the Philadelphia Department of Human Services to serve the needs of the region’s most vulnerable children, youth, and families.
We work with children and families to help them identify their unique strengths, foster their resiliency, and develop skills so that each person can reach his/her full academic and social potential, and each family can support their child(ren) with strength and compassion.
