Residential Treatment

Residential Treatment Facilities provide evaluation, stabilization, acute and longer-term care according to individual treatment needs. Stepping down to community-based care as soon as possible is the objective. Male and female children ages 4 through 21, receive treatment for social, emotional, psychiatric and dependency needs in open residential settings. Therapeutic recreation, group and individual psychotherapy, coping and life skills all are part of treatment. The continuum of day treatment and educational services is tailored for each resident, using Wordsworth, community resources and schools as appropriate.
